What DNA is?

Everyone has unique DNA. DNA is genetic material bringing all information can be relegated.

1. Paternity Test

2. Maternity Test

Maternity test is a DNA test to determine a woman is a biology mother from a child or not.

Just like in Paternity test, the paternity test compare DNA pattern of child with suspect mother to investigate the DNA evidence of inherit if there is biology link.

This test is used only if there are some cases such as: exchanged baby, tube bay, adopted children and etc.

3. DNA identification method in Paternity and Maternity Test

DNA identification for Paternities test is taken by doing analysis DNA pattern used STR mark (short tandem repeat).

4. Is there any preparation before the DNA test?

No they aren’t, alcohol, medicines, meals, age, or life style will not change the DNA pattern of someone.

5. Can the Paternity test be done before the child is born?

Can, with DNA analysis, Paternity test can be done before the child born (prenatal). The DNA test can be done with sample from embryo tissue (Chorionic Villi Sample, CVS) generally in the age of 10-13 weeks of pregnancy, or with amniocentesis in the age of 14-24 weeks of pregnancy.

6. The accuracy of the test.

The DNA test is 100 % accurate if it is done appropriately and it can give more than 99.99% probability paternity if the suspect father DNA and child DNA is match. If the DNA of suspect father doesn’t match, so the suspect father who has done the test is 100 % not the biology father for the child. Confirmation can be done with retest.

The DNA test it doesn’t influence with age and this test can be done to embryo and even the death people.
